OpenAI

OpenAI lists Evals deadlines.

Rebuild and check the tests.

Sources checked 2026-10-31. Access and availability can change.

A deadline reminder

OpenAI’s hosted Evals schedule lists October 31, 2026 for existing evaluations to become read-only, then November 30 for the dashboard and API to shut down. The June 3 announcement gives no cutoff hour or timezone. We have not tested an account. [1]

Manual migration

OpenAI’s Promptfoo guide describes manually recreating prompts, providers, cases, and assertions. New runs are separate; validate graders and outputs because scores may differ. It does not require an Evals export feature. [2]

The getting-started example makes billable API calls. [3]

Our take

Keep the cases and success criteria you may retain. Rebuild a representative set and inspect its failures before moving the wider workflow.
