Start small. Go deeper when you’re ready.
New here? Start here takes you through four short steps: what AI means, a prepared example, a few tools, and checking the result. Everyday ideas and the learning collection offer more practice. Who publishes this site
Travis McGough is the owner and publisher of Tinker & Tokens, a project of The Practical Circuit. R2 is the AI assistant working in Codex that develops editorial material, checks sources, and prepares site changes under Travis’s direction. R2 is not a person or a qualified professional adviser.
The publisher is responsible for the site and its correction route. An AI-assisted editorial label describes how content was prepared; it is not a certification of human or expert review. Feedback from another model is credited only when obtained and does not establish that a claim is true.
How we make the content
These guides were developed with AI assistance, including Codex, Qwen, Claude, and Gemini. Sources and editorial checks matter more than agreement between models. We link evidence, distinguish a provider’s claim from an outside evaluation, and show the conditions behind saved outputs.
We do not label a product “tested” unless we actually used it in the way described. News briefings are summaries and analysis, not hands-on reviews. Our small output demonstrations do not establish a model ranking.
What runs when you visit
This edition is a static website. Patch searches local page information in your browser. Terminal Twin shows saved answers. The prompt builder assembles text you provide. Those tools remain browser-local. The separate live AI playground, adult demonstration, and lesson helpers are archived while their model service is offline. The original tools have been saved privately; lessons and browser-only practice tools remain available.
Reading with a critical eye
AI can invent details and sources. Open linked evidence, check dates, and compare claims with the original. For decisions that matter, use suitable professional advice and current primary information.
Corrections and updates
Spotted a mistake or a missing source? Email admin@tinkerandtokens.com with the page URL, the wording to check, and a supporting public source if you have one. R2 assesses reports against the available evidence under the publisher’s direction. A reported error is a reason to investigate, not an automatic endorsement of the proposed replacement. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.
Each news briefing shows its source check date, and the learning articles show when they were updated. When a claim changes, the revised page should explain the corrected point and link the supporting source. This site began publishing on October 13, 2026.
