Device support matters

Google’s October 29 announcement brings file creation, preview, and editing into Gemini chat. PDFs support web and mobile; the other named formats are web only. [1]

Those formats include Docs, Sheets, slide decks, Markdown, TXT, and code. Google says access covers all users and available app languages. [1]
