ChatGPT adds mobile account switching.

Two logins, separate contexts.

Choose the account

OpenAI’s October 30 notes say account switching is rolling out to ChatGPT on iOS and Android. Users can remain signed in to two accounts and switch without signing out. [1]

Only one account is active. The guide says chats, memory, files, settings, and subscriptions remain separate; switching does not merge accounts. On mobile, open Settings > Switch account. A notification for the other signed-in account can switch you there. Managed-account policies still apply, and a missing switcher can mean the rollout has not reached you. [2]

Our take

Check the active account before uploading work or continuing from a notification. Easier switching helps separate contexts when you still notice which account is active.
